Add a warm roof to an existing conservatory
You may already have a conservatory in place and are looking for a replacement, instead of building from the ground up. It may be because you are looking for a new design to replace the existing structure, or you are not happy with the thermal performance of your current roof.
Installing a replacement warm roof will instantly change the way you use your conservatory. As it is a solid roof, rather than polycarbonate or glass, we are able to include insulation slabs that will increase the thermal efficiency inside the space. Rather than avoiding your conservatory during the autumn and winter because it is too cold to relax, you will be able to spend as much time as you wish there.

Along with all the design choices you have to make, there are a number of regulatory standards to achieve when planning a new conservatory. Choosing to work with Pelsall means you don’t have to deal with the stress of seeking planning permission or understanding the current building regulations as we take care of it all.
In most cases warm roof conservatories will not require planning permission. However, this is not a blanket rule which is why we run the necessary checks to ensure it does not apply to your home. The same applies to building regulations, which are in place to ensure the health and safety of the building. The structural opening (the doorway) will have to approved, however, but we’ll take care of the entire process on your behalf.
