Victorian Style Conservatories

Guttering

Victorian conservatories remain a popular option for homeowners in the West Midlands as their adaptability makes them suitable for almost any type of home. As you would expect, they fit in perfectly with existing Victorian architecture to create a seamless extension. Victorian conservatories tend to have three or five facets on their front elevation, complemented with ornate detailing on the ridge of the roof.

The shape of Victorian conservatories is also another big plus. The versatile roofing and choice of facets mean you have a range of options to choose from. So depending on the space available, you can find a type that really benefits your needs.

Edwardian Style Conservatories

Guttering

Edwardian conservatories (sometimes referred to as Georgian Conservatories) enjoy a similar design to Victorian conservatories and also feature an apex roof. The main difference between the two exists in the front of the build. Where Victorian conservatories have an angled front, Edwardian conservatories are either rectangular or square when seen on the plan.

This classic style of conservatory does not have as much ornamentation as a Victorian option. The symmetrical shape and plain glass featured in Edwardian conservatories allow us to create a design that makes the most of the floor space available.

If maximising space is one of the main reasons for converting or building a new space in your property then Edwardian conservatories are the right choice for you. It allows you to use the conservatory for a wider range of activities without impacting on their charismatic design.
